Thanks to Neil Garnett for this fabulous programme from just before the first world war.
Although not our present South Liverpool FC (the non South era of 1921 - 1935 is still a way off) its always great to feature our Dingle Lane based predecessors. This is an away programme which shows South playing in Blue and White at Chester's Sealand Road ground.
As with all these old programmes its real value is in the language it speaks and how the adverts are framed giving us a but a small glimpse of how football and life went on that far off Edwardian era. For example - machine made bread anyone?
